How to measure your ring size at home
How to measure your ring size
Not sure of your ring size? No problem. Here are three easy methods to measure your ring size accurately at home before ordering.
String method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in mm. Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter.
Existing ring method
Place an existing ring on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in mm. Use the table below to find your size.

Best time to measure: Measure your finger in the evening when fingers are at their largest. Fingers can vary in size throughout the day depending on temperature and activity. For the most accurate measurement, measure 2-3 times and take the average.

Wide band rings: If you are ordering a wide band ring (anything wider than 4mm) we recommend going half a size up from your normal size as wide bands fit more snugly than narrow bands.
Claddagh rings: Claddagh rings are traditionally worn on the right hand with the heart pointing outward when you are single, and inward when in a relationship. On the left hand with the heart pointing inward it indicates engagement or marriage.
